GAs up the car - Clarkson and kingsley are "learning to drive"
Ben Kinglsey and Patricia Clarkson are unlikely friends in the indy film "Learning to Drive." Each of them is at a crossroads in life and the time they spend behind the wheel lets them learn how to navigate the tricky roads of life and the crowded streets of New York.
Clarkson's "Wendy" is going through a divorce. Kingsley's "Darwan" is a newlywed. She's a book critic, he's a university professor who's working far below his abilities in this country because most people don't like his looks. Together, they create their own cocoon in their little student driver car and look for peace and maybe a few answers to life's questions. The movie is based on a true story. " Learning to Drive" is out in limited release.
